Rewind Time Routine

Benefits of Combining Gua Sha with Tallow Skincare

- Boosted Circulation: The massage stimulates blood flow, which can help rejuvenate the skin and give you a healthy glow.
- Lymphatic Drainage: Gua Sha helps promote lymphatic drainage, reducing puffiness and detoxifying the skin.
- Enhanced Product Absorption: The oils and tallow products provide a perfect base for Gua Sha, helping the skin absorb nutrients more effectively.
- Soothing and Healing: Tallow-based products, rich in fatty acids and vitamins, work in harmony with the Gua Sha technique to calm inflammation, nourish the skin, and improve elasticity.

Try doing this routine a few times a week for best results, and adjust pressure depending on how your skin feels. This gentle yet effective practice leaves your skin looking lifted, de-puffed, and deeply hydrated!

Here’s a Gua Sha face routine that incorporates the use of oils and tallow-based skincare for glowing, healthy skin:

Step-by-Step Gua Sha Face Routine

1. Cleanse Your Skin
Start with a clean face. Use a gentle cleanser to remove any makeup, dirt, or oils. This helps prepare your skin to fully absorb the benefits of the oils and tallow.

2. Apply a Nourishing Oil or Tallow Balm
Generously apply a facial oil or tallow balm to your skin to create slip. You can use jojoba oil, rosehip oil, or a blend of oils combined with tallow-based skincare products. This will help your Gua Sha tool glide smoothly across your skin without tugging.

3. Warm Up Your Gua Sha Tool
(Optional) You can warm the Gua Sha stone by running it under warm water or rubbing it between your palms. This can help improve circulation and make the massage feel more relaxing.

The Routine

Jawline & Chin
- Hold the Gua Sha tool** at a 15-30 degree angle to your skin.
- Start at the center of your chin, then slowly glide the tool along your jawline toward your ear using gentle, upward strokes. Repeat 3-5 times on each side.

Cheeks
- Begin near the nose, and gently stroke the Gua Sha tool outward across your cheek toward your ear.
- Use light pressure around sensitive areas like the under-eye and avoid dragging. Repeat 3-5 times on each side.

Under-Eyes
- Use the smaller edge of your tool or the rounded edge.
- Start near the inner corner of your eye and sweep outward, toward the temple, following the natural contours of your under-eye area. Be extra gentle here, as the skin is thin. Repeat 3 times on each side.

Forehead
- Begin at the center of your forehead, just above your eyebrows.
- Sweep the tool upward toward your hairline, working from the center outward to the temples. Repeat 3-5 times on each side.

Neck
- Glide the tool down the sides of your neck from the jawline toward your collarbone. This helps drain lymphatic fluid and boosts circulation. Repeat 5 times on each side.

4. Massage Any Remaining Product Into Your Skin
After finishing the routine, use your hands to gently massage any remaining oil or tallow balm into your skin. This allows your skin to fully absorb the nourishing ingredients.

5. Optional: Apply Moisturizer or Tallow Balm
If your skin feels like it needs extra hydration, finish off with a light layer of your favorite tallow balm or moisturizer to lock in the benefits.
